PROGRAM DETAILS
Softball Batter Up is a modified softball program that teaches fundamental skills through a series of FUN and SAFE games for kids.
As Softball Australia’s national participation program, Softball Batter Up, is designed to be fun, flexible and engaging for children, focusing on fun activities while learning basic throwing, catching, striking and decision making skills. The program is available to boys & girls age 4-9yrs.
Coordinators are Kerri Jefferies and Susan Mundy.
The program includes Softball Batter Up Participant Packs
Included in registration is the participant pack containing:
· SBU Backpack
· SBU Foam Bat
· SBU Foam Ball
Also included in the minimum price is insurance and membership with Softball Australia. All additional equipment is provided on the day, including softball gloves.

Let me take this opportunity to introduce you to the Suiside Fastpitch Club Inc Softball Club. Our club was established over 40 years ago, currently fielding teams for Junior Girls and Boys (10 – 15 years) Rookies Girls and Boys (15 – 18 years), and Senior Woman and Men. Our mission over the years has been a continued approach to player and team development, with the aim to create an atmosphere that is accepting, challenging, friendly, and fun. Moving forward our goal is to increase participation numbers in softball and encourage positive sporting activity in our community. We will continue to provide State/National pathways and opportunities for our members to upskill across all facets of softball. Our club will also be providing an instructive environment for Children under 10 years via the Softball Batter Up Progam.
