What is Softball Batter Up?
Softball Batter Up is a modified softball program that teaches fundamental skills through a series of FUN and SAFE games for kids.
As Softball Australia’s national participation program, Softball Batter Up, is designed to be fun, flexible and engaging for children (ages 4-8), focusing on fun activities while learning basic throwing, catching, striking and decision making skills.
The program will be adapted for all ages and abilities using the Game Sense and CHANGE IT approach. Softball Batter Up activities align with the national health and physical education curriculum in schools, are written with the purpose of engaging children in physical activity and fostering a life-long love of sport.

If you register 2 weeks before the program starts your equipment will be available from the program venue on the first day. Please note, if you have registered after this date, your equipment pack may not arrive before the start of the program, but it will get there.

Northern District Softball Association
A family-oriented softball association, offering summer seasons to males and females from the age of 3 through to Masters. A winter training program is available for boys and girls aged 3 through 17. The association consistently sends representative teams to State Championships in all age groups. Get to know your team-mates at the association's many social events, including: trivia nights, social competitions, pasta nights and barbecues.
